Theta Bowling Night

This June we hosted a special Theta Thursday at the Commodore Lanes & Billiards.

Networking Night Join the Vancouver Alumnae Chapter for a night of professional development and networking We will be hosting speakers and presentations from members of our chapter focusing on the transition from student to professional as well as how to best utilize and develop your own professional network. There will also be an opportunity to network with our chapter after the presentations! This event is great for those starting a new profession or thinking about switching gears.

Alumnae Yoga

We're trying out alumnae yoga check us out!

Vancouver Thetas celebrate annually the founding of our fraternity. This event is held in January and is not to be missed.

Member Development

As leading women we strive to continually improve ourselves and our chapters. This past year we attended the VAPA Networking event with guest speaker Miyoung Lee from CBC News. She spoke about utilizing our sorority experiences in our careers. We also attend one of the UBC Dialogues nights "Why aren't there more women in leadership roles?". A panel series with guest speakers such as past UBC President Martha Piper for a dynamic and enlightening discussion.

Supporting Beta Upsilon

Many of our members also serve on Advisory or Facility Corporation Boards to help support out local chapter Beta Upsilon. We send treats and love during times like recruitment and support them with events like their signature philantropy.

Summer BBQ

This past summer we held a kick off to summer with a BBQ which was a great way to connect with everyone before holidays began!

Send off Seniors

Every spring we celebrate and welcome the new alumnae graduating from the Beta Upsilon chapter with a small ceremony.

Celebration of Light

A casual series of events, if you're going to be watching them, why not with other Thetas!

Bard on the Beach

This has turned into an annual event, every summer our members attend Bard on the Beach.

Holiday Party

What better way to celebrate with the ones we love. Festive drinks and food to ring in the holiday season!

Gold Groups

Because of our large number of alumnae we also have GOLD groups which also host their own book clubs, brunch clubs, dinner clubs etc... GOLD was an annocrym for grads of the last decade however has transformed into groups of ladies based on pledge years. We currently have three active GOLD groups. One from the 1970's, one from 2003 to around 2006 and 2007-2013.
